MAMA TO BE SPA RITUAL

This head-to-toe face and body ritual has been specially designed for expecting mums. Sink back into a comfy seat and take the weight off as feet are treated to a nourishing coconut milk and rose petal foot soak. You will then be made comfortable on the treatment couch complete with a water pillow so you will feel like you are floating – bliss!

Let the pampering begin with a Neil’s Yard Remedies Organic facial to boost your pregnancy glow. Includes a Gua Sha facial massage to de-puff and brighten skin. Warm steamy towels add that touch of luxury.

Drift away as you enjoy a rhythmic slow massage to ease any tension from your back, neck, shoulders and scalp. Soothe stretched skin with a gentle (optional) tummy massage using a specially selected pregnancy safe aromatherapy oil. Light, sweeping lymphatic massage techniques are then used to alleviate swelling in hands, arms, feet and lower legs.

SIGNATURE SELF CARE FACIAL

This signature treatment begins with a soothing eye, lip and face cleanse to remove any dirt or grime that has built up throughout the day. A cooling toner is spritzed over the face before the skin is exfoliated, removing any dead skin cells. Wild rose nourishing beauty balm is then expertly massaged into the skin, uplifting, firming and reducing puffiness.

Once your bespoke face mask has been applied you may find yourself drifting away while warm oils are massaged into your neck, shoulders, arms and scalp. Steamy heated mitts are gently pressed on to the skin, removing any remaining product. Finally, a replenishing facial oil and moisturiser are applied, leaving your skin feeling fresh and revitalised. GUA SHA GODDESS FACIAL

A luxurious treat for skin and soul. A rejuvenating eye, lip and face cleanse followed by a gentle exfoliation perfectly prepares the skin for sculpting Gua Sha massage. Feel the nourishing wild rose balm melt into the skin with each cool, soothing stroke of the green Aventurine stone. This ancient Chinese massage technique clears stagnant energy which aids lymphatic drainage to reduce puffiness and brighten the skin.

VOLCANIC HOT STONES MASSAGE

An indulgent back, neck and shoulder massage using gently heated handpicked basalt stones sourced from volcanic riverbeds in Peru. The naturally shaped stones are bathed in warm nourishing oils and worked gently into the body. Allow the heat and gentle pressure of the massage to ease sore, tight and stressed muscles.

Beginning with a wonderfully relaxing back, neck and shoulder massage using warm oil. You will then be asked to turn over so any remaining tension can be eliminated from the neck, shoulders and scalp.

  • A valid voucher number (expired vouchers are not accepted)

Only when the above information has been received will your booking be confirmed.

Our cancellation and rescheduling policies are applicable for all gift voucher bookings.

For your appointment, we advise you to wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing that is easy to change out of and back into. For massage appointments you will typically be asked to undress down to underwear. You will be covered with a towel during the massage, with only the area being worked on exposed. Please note, your modesty will be protected at all times throughout your visit and you will always be made to feel comfortable by your therapist.

Booking a treatment is easy! Simply browse through the website and select the treatment you desire, whether it’s a facial, massage, or spa ritual. Then, tap the ‘BOOK NOW’ button underneath your chosen treatment and select a convenient time slot to visit my welcoming treatment room in Wakefield.

A non-refundable booking fee of 50% of the total cost of your treatment/s is required for all appointments. This is payable at the point of booking via the online booking system.

We accept all major debit/credit cards, contactless payments, cash and bank transfers.

You are welcome to choose your preferred payment method to settle your remaining balance on the day of your appointment.

For appointment moves, your booking fee can only be moved ONCE and must be done so with a minimum of 48 hours notice. Multiple appointment moves are not allowed as it affects our scheduling and availability for other clients.

If you no-show for a scheduled appointment you will be charged 100% of your appointment cost. The Self Care Sanctuary reserves the right to decline any person(s) from booking future appointments if the cancellation policy is not adhered to.
