    All treatments begin with an introductory welcome ritual including a refreshing foot cleanse with warm aromatherapy scented towels followed by gentle foot rocks and acupressure points.

    A deeply relaxing facial experience combining gentle cleansing, exfoliation, and massage with organic rose balm. Soothing facial mists and warm aromatherapy mitts are woven throughout, calming the skin and senses. Massage flows through the face, shoulders, scalp, arms, and hands, inviting full-body relaxation.

    A carefully selected mask is applied mid-treatment, allowing you to drift into stillness while the ritual continues around you. Finished with nourishing oils and moisturiser, this treatment leaves your skin glowing and your whole being restored.

    GUA SHA GODDESS FACIAL

    A sacred ritual for skin and soul — where ancient wisdom meets modern glow.

    Begin with a soothing cleanse across the eyes, lips, and face, followed by gentle exfoliation to prepare the skin for sculpting Gua Sha massage. Cool strokes of green Aventurine stone glide across the face, melting organic rose balm into the skin and gently clearing stagnant energy. This time-honoured technique supports lymphatic flow, reduces puffiness, and reveals a brighter, more sculpted complexion.

    A bio-retinol gold mask adds a touch of radiance, while warm oils are massaged into the hands, arms, and scalp, inviting deep relaxation. Finished with replenishing facial oil and moisturiser, this treatment leaves you glowing — inside and out.

    SIGNATURE SELF CARE FACIAL

    This express version of our popular Signature Self Care facial includes a cleanse, tone, exfoliation, face mask and moisturiser to leave skin feeling fresh and revitalised. Steamy heated mitts combined with a mini neck and shoulder massage add that touch of luxury to leave you feeling well and truly pampered.

    VOLCANIC HOT STONES MASSAGE

    An indulgent back, neck and shoulder massage using gently heated handpicked basalt stones sourced from volcanic riverbeds in Peru. The naturally shaped stones are bathed in warm nourishing oils and worked gently into the body. Allow the heat and gentle pressure of the massage to ease sore, tight and stressed muscles.

    Drift into deep relaxation as this grounding foot massage soothes tired soles, eases tension and restores balance. A nourishing blend of Organic shea butter, peppermint and geranium softens skin and awaken the senses, while rhythmic strokes and gentle pressure points invite a state of pure calm.     Beginning with a wonderfully relaxing back, neck and shoulder massage using warm oil. You will then be asked to turn over so any remaining tension can be eliminated from the neck, shoulders and scalp.

    Enter into a state of calm, peaceful bliss with this firm yet gentle scalp massage. Rhythmic movements and acupressure points are used to clear any remaining fatigue and tension away from your head and neck. The perfect addition to any treatment.

    FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

    If you have an e-voucher, you can book your treatment online and simply enter your voucher code at checkout to redeem it against the booking fee.

    If you would like to use a physical gift voucher to pay for your treatment please email jo@theselfcaresanctuary.net with the following information:

    • Email address
    • The date and time of your desired slot (please browse the online booking system for availability)
    • Which treatment/s and length of treatment (if applicable) you would like
    • A valid voucher number (expired vouchers are not accepted)

    Only when the above information has been received will your booking be confirmed.

    Our cancellation and rescheduling policies are applicable for all gift voucher bookings.

    For your appointment, we advise you to wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing that is easy to change out of and back into. For massage appointments you will typically be asked to undress down to underwear. You will be covered with a towel during the massage, with only the area being worked on exposed. Please note, your modesty will be protected at all times throughout your visit and you will always be made to feel comfortable by your therapist.

    Booking a treatment is easy! Simply browse through the website and select the treatment you desire, whether it’s a facial, massage, or spa ritual. Then, tap the ‘BOOK NOW’ button underneath your chosen treatment and select a convenient time slot to visit my welcoming treatment room in Wakefield.

    A non-refundable booking fee of 50% of the total cost of your treatment/s is required for all appointments. This is payable at the point of booking via the online booking system.

    We accept all major debit/credit cards, contactless payments, cash and bank transfers.

    You are welcome to choose your preferred payment method to settle your remaining balance on the day of your appointment.

    For appointment moves, your booking fee can only be moved ONCE and must be done so with a minimum of 48 hours notice. Multiple appointment moves are not allowed as it affects our scheduling and availability for other clients.

    If you no-show for a scheduled appointment you will be charged 100% of your appointment cost. The Self Care Sanctuary reserves the right to decline any person(s) from booking future appointments if the cancellation policy is not adhered to.
